This builds on an interesting mix of 60’s rock influences, most notably the SF acid rock scene, as well as maybe some of the proto-metal bands of that time. Might just be me but, there seems to be a kind of malevolent under-current to much of the proceedings and that just adds to the edge of the vocal delivery and the lyrics. Kind of like something from Syd Barrett’s more uneasy imaginary twin brother. It’s an interesting trip that rewards multiple listens. Sinister Exaggerator
